Special Class Integrated Setting (SCIS)

3 year olds in AM/PM for 2.5 hours, 5 days
4 year olds in AM/PM for 2.5 hours, 5 days
Deaf and Hard Of Hearing Program
3 and 4 year olds, 2.5 hours 5 days
(We also enroll 2 year olds from EI in this classroom.) We also offer an inclusive classroom for children with Cochlear Implants. This half-day program will be based on an aural approach staffed by professionals experienced in the education of young children who are deaf and/or hard of hearing.
3 and 4 year olds, 2.6 hours, 5 days
Related Services
Speech/language therapy, audiology services, physical therapy, and occupational therapy are available for all children enrolled in our programs.
1:1 Teaching Assistant
If a child requires on-going individual intervention, we will assign a Teaching Assistant to that child as per their Individual Educational Plan (IEP).
Evaluation
Evaluations of children for Early Intervention and CPSE…The team consists of a special education teacher, school psychologist, speech/language pathologist, occupational therapist, physical therapist and other disciplines when requested.
The team primarily evaluates at the Children’s Village location and is available to evaluate in homes or other off-site locations upon request.
Summer School
We offer a six week summer school for all children.
